One of Mt Fuji’s Five Lakes. On a clear day, the lake offers multiple foreground for MT.Fuji, where you can see the reflection of the majestic mountain. The lake is located right at the base of Mt. Fuji. Though Mt Fuji is not always visible, it is best seen early morning or late in the afternoon.
You can get there by train to Kawaguchi-ko Station or by Scheduled Bus or private bus.
Tip: Japan still experiences traffic. it is best to avoid the Golden week. So book your bus in advance.
Best to stay in a Ryokan (Japanese style hotel) around the area. Be amaze of the fantastic view when you wake up and you can enjoy early morning walk around the lake.
