We took a trip in one of the most beautiful spots in Asia. Hạ Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam with 1,600 limestone islands and islets.
You can get to Halong City by car, minibus or bus. A private ride was offered to us by our travel agent that provided comfort and a safe trip from Hanoi.
We enjoyed the Ha Long Bay Cruise. A large safe boat with English speaking crew. The food was great and our accommodation relaxing and comfortable. The crew let us experience Vietnamese cooking under the stars.
Local people use row boats filled with many local goods and snacks including potato chips.
Halong Bay offered us many activities even for non photographers, like swimming, sunbathing, trekking, cycling, fishing, snorkeling, boat ride and kayaking. The beach is a good place for sunset photography.
Some small islands have many unique rock formations, cave and the different people.
